The 356th Fighter Group Restaurant

The 356^th Fighter Group is the area’s only authentic WWII restaurant dedicated to the heroes of the war.  The 356^th Fighter Group was an actual airborne team that saw combat in the European Theater.  Three squadrons of planes (the 359^th, 360^th and 361^st) made up the 356^th Fighter Group.  These pilots flew the P-47 Thunderbolt and then the famed P-51 Mustang while escorting the B-17 Bombers across the English Channel to safety.  This group was stationed at the Martelsham Heath Airfield in Suffolk, England.  The 356^th Fighter Group completed a total of 413 combat missions.  It is to these brave and courageous men that we dedicate our restaurant.

For 25 years, we have been one of the most successful independently owned eateries in the Tri-County area.  The restaurant is decorated in 1940’s style with specially milled carpet and tablecloths that bring out the flair and ambiance of the era.  We are located on the south runways of the Akron-Canton Airport.  Huge windows overlook the airport runways giving our guests a fantastic view.  We offer something for eveyone:
